Your helpful, friendly, reassuring yet professional approach was just the right tone and I have no hesitation in recommending your course and your services to others.
I have nothing but praise also for the venue of the Kings Arms Hotel. The food was excellent, as was the accommodation and the training room.
Thank you so much and my warmest regards to you both.

Just to say a sincere thank-you to you both for the valuable training we have received for the celebrant work, it really was a most enjoyable three days. We all feel keen and confident to get involved in the work so will be organising our membership of the network sooner rather than later.
Many thanks once again,
-- Shelley, Tamara and Richard.
“You and Eric work very well together as a team. I would highly recommend you carry on teaching all parts of the course together. You two are a very good example of the individuality of celebrants.
The visits to the funeral home and the crematorium were invaluable. If we had the luxury of practising in a crematorium, including the music, it would be wonderful, although I realise that may be a favour too far. The venue was good and so was the food, I am only sorry that I was too ill to really enjoy the food and the company.
I would like to come to the marriage celebrant training day if at all possible. I would be happy to support future courses, and to contribute some expertise on coaching, writing, and working with systems/families if that would be of any help.”

“I just wanted to say hi again and what a pleasure it was meeting you all this week and how much I enjoyed the course. I hope we can all stay in touch as I'm sure I will be asking you all to look over services for me when I get them and I hope I can do the same for you. And I big thank you to Eric and Guy for running the course.”

“I've now been to 4 Funeral Directors, have 2 firm appointments and have to drop details into another, and call the owner of the 4th on Monday, so all good. They are all delighted when I say we can do religious or non-religious and all of them used the phrase "filling a gap in the market"! So it looks like we should do well.
One of the Funeral Directors have 6 offices around the city, I went to the head office and am going to see them at 4pm on Tuesday to chat and have a look around. Many thanks again for such a wonderful course; we will do you proud in Scotland.”

“I really enjoyed the course and even went straight to Randall's Park Crematorium on the way home to make myself known and get the names and numbers of all the local Funeral Directors who dealt with them.
I have nothing but good things to say about the course. It gave me the know how to go to Funeral Directors and speak about the kind of services I can offer bereaved families with the confidence that I will do a good job.
The comprehensive notes and advice you gave were essential in helping me to be able to meet with bereaved families and write a service that will do their deceased loved ones justice. Thank you so much for all your help.”

“Forgive me for being so tardy in writing to you both, but since getting home last Thursday various things have rather overtaken me! Anyway, I wanted to thank you both for a very enjoyable course last week.
It was all most interesting, very instructive and Bob and I both felt that you had put the whole subject together in an exemplary and highly professional manner. The ‘homework’ tasks which you set us certainly made me use my brain in a way that I haven’t done for some time and that, together with having to present these, were excellent practical exercises.
The visits to the crematorium and the undertaker were obviously an essential part of the course, but to have arranged things so that the final part of the course was to attend a funeral service conducted by yourself, Guy, was definitely the icing on the cake as well as being a masterpiece of skilful organisation! As I am sure I mentioned before, one in the eye is worth two in the ear!
And talking of Icing on the cake, I felt that Highley Manor was an excellent place in which to hold the course and the more or less permanent access to tea, coffee and biscuits, as well as excellent lunches, was perfect. The Europa Hotel was adequate for our needs with no frills.
Being cheap and close to Highley Manor, it was good value for money. I shall certainly be very happy to recommend your course to others. Many thanks!”
